| I feel as though a mini tribute to Ingmar Bergman and a video from Ryan Adams is a way to go out strong from the world of Xanga posting. I've recently gotten involved in a service for Young Adults at the church and need to focus more attention to that and its blog. Not that I really posted that much here, but I figure that I should officially post concerning this indefinite end of digitydyr's xanga (or, as it was originally called, 'Bryan Bends It Like Beckham'). The new blog is located at: http://www.ehills.org/yamblog

| Ingmar Bergman passed away today.
If you haven't seen an Ingmar Bergman film, get on your Netflix and order a couple. Try 'The Seventh Seal' or 'Wild Strawberries.' Or his 'religious' trilogy: The Silence, Through A Glass Darkly, and Winter Light. (If you are still at Calvin College, they have a ton of his movies in the library) I had a religion professor at Calvin say that if a student goes through a Christian liberal arts college and never is exposed to a Bergman film, then it is a travesty. I'd say that if anyone goes through life and never is exposed to Bergman, that is a travesty. Plus, it sounds cool if someone asks you what you did last night and you respond, "Oh, we watched a Bergman film." Sounds better than, "Oh, we watched America's Got Talent." Anna and I just watched 'Persona' like a week ago. The man was absolutely brilliant. |

| Today our staff went to Denver Botanic Gardens for a day of prayer. As I was sitting on a bench reading, three kids were climbing on rocks right in front of me. One kid kept yelling, "We're mountain lions. We can do anything we want every day and every night. Even kill bees!" I enjoyed the 'bees' part. |

| I'm just glad that other people came to the same conclusion.
